Assistant Professor
One Assistant Professor in the Department of English and two Assistant Professors in the Department of Information and Communication Technology will be recruited. The salary scale for this post is Tk 35,500-67,010.
Candidate should have Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the relevant subject. For application in English department, candidate should have minimum GPA-4.00 in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examination in first division or either and minimum GPA-3.50 in the other. A minimum GPA/CGPA-3.50 in either of the Graduate and Post-Graduate examinations and a minimum GPA/CGPA-3.35 in the other.
For applying in the Information and Communication Technology department, candidates must have first division in both SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations or minimum GPA/CGPA-3.60 or first class in both graduation (honours) and post-graduate examinations with minimum GPA-3.00.
For the post of Assistant Professor, those with three years of teaching experience as lecturers in universities should have at least one publication in a recognized journal. Minimum two years teaching experience as Lecturer in recognized University in case of MPhil/Equivalent degree holders or minimum one year teaching experience as Lecturer in recognized University in case of PhD holders.

Three lecturers will be recruited from English Department, one from Bangla Department, one from Marketing Department, one from Management Education Department, one from Finance and Banking Department, one from Computer Science and Engineering Department and one from Information and Communication Technology Department. The pay scale of this post is Tk 22,000-53,060.
To apply for the post of Lecturer, one must have Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the relevant subject. For applying in Marketing/Management Education/Finance & Banking category candidates should have minimum GPA-4.00 in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examination or both. Minimum GPA/CGPA-3.70 or First Class in both Graduation (Honours) and Post Graduation examinations.

Candidates who have MPhil/equivalent or PhD in these departments or have research papers in recognized journals with minimum two years of teaching experience in recognized universities, the eligibility prescribed by Bangladesh University Grants Commission will be applicable.
How to apply
Candidates have to apply in the University’s own application form. The application form should be collected from the university website or the office of the university registrar. Candidates have to submit eight sets of application form for the post of Assistant Professor and Lecturer along with all necessary documents. All examination certificates and mark sheets, experience and training, attested copy of national identity card should be attached with the application form. Four copies of passport size color attested photographs should be attached with the original application form.

For the post of Assistant Professor and Lecturer Tk 800 payable to Registrar, Comilla University, Comilla, Janata Bank Limited, Comilla University Branch, Kotbari, Comilla in favor of any branch of Janata Bank Limited should be attached with the application form. Bank draft/pay order number, amount and date should be mentioned in the application form.
